So this bouquet I actually made over three years ago, yesterday I realised I didn’t really have any decent photos of it so decided to snap a few. Considering it’s been all over the country to every show I’ve exhibited at since I think it’s holding up OK!

Sooo after spending almost an hour trying to choose just one photo for each model from a recent Icons shoot organised by Lou over at Bake To The Future I've given up and will most probably post more in the future - if you would like to see more right this second head over to Unconventional Wedding where they have done a lovely feature. Thanks to Florence Berry Photography for taking such amazing shots and making to just too hard to choose :) I'll pop the full team credits in the comments - do take a look they are all amazing!
If you had told me a few years ago that buttonhole designing was going to become one of my very favourite things about my job I really don’t think I would have believed you... it really has though. In an industry where the groom is so often overlooked I love creating designs that are perfect for each of them
Haha! Totally LOVE this image from over at Unconventional Wedding May the force be with you!
MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU!
Happy Star Wars Day Unconventionals!
We're sharing one of our favourite photos from one of our wedding fairs featuring the Imperial Icons team with accessories from tribe member Charlotte Laurie Designs & captured by Matt Glover Photography
Want to know how to plan a Star Wars wedding? Pop over the blog and we've got it it all sorted for you! Link below.
I love a good photobook me and this really is something special! So much fun to create (I could spend almost as much time choosing photos as I do buttons...almost) and it also has an acrylic glass like cover ooooh! Thanks to #saaldigital for having such a lovely product for me to now show off.
Do you know anyone that has had to postpone their spring/summer wedding and is now totally gutted the flowers they wanted might not be available? If so totally get them to have a look at alternative bouquet makers (not just me we're all in this one together) we might be able to recreate the look they were after so they can have it whenever the day ends up being... oh and they will get to keep it forever! Please share so people know!
I wouldn't normally share this sort of thing here as i tend to keep my little business page for sharing the things I've created but with Coronavirus affecting all of us in so may ways this really is too important not to share.
For a while now I've been working with the Royal Voluntary Service. They are amazing and leading the way in this crisis supporting our most vulnerable. They need your help to be able to do this though so if you can spare anything at all please do.
I'm also incredibly aware just how hard this has hit so many financially so if you can't spare anything right now don't worry just be kind to each other and we'll make it through
Stay safe everyone

One of my amazing couples tells their story about getting married just before Lockdown.
Lauren Hallam-King, 28, and her groom Tom Hallam, 33, from Loughborough, Leicester, had booked the date to tie the knot in front of 15 witnesses today, but married alone in a registry.
With everything going on around us we are having a ‘home holiday’ as Fletcher found the terms self isolation and social distancing quite scary. He’s now bouncing round the house happy as ever. For me the sewing and creating continue as normal. How are you all doing? xx
My couples are simply the best! Check out these amazing photos and also the bride has some pretty lovely things to say :)
"I have only ever wanted a felt flower bouquet for my wedding. I scoured Etsy and the rest of the internet for a month and kept coming back to CharlieLaurieDesigns. She was absolutely phenomenal throughout the custom design process for my bouquet and boutonnière. My bouquet is perfect and will last a lifetime! Thank you so much for making the only thing I really wanted at my ceremony (besides the husband, of course!)"
I'm so amazingly proud of everything to do with this shoot... and it's also so lovely that something a little bit magical happened! Thank you to the team who couldn't have possibly been more amazing, to Rock 'n Roll Bride for loving it as much as we did and of course Natalie and Maxx!
On October 6th at The Lost Village of Dode in Kent, Natalie and Maxx acted as models for a Snow White and dark fairytale themed wedding shoot. What started as just a pretend handfasting ceremony ended up being really moving and emotional for the couple, so they decided to actually make the commitmen...
